General Questions

  1. Am I able to change my personal information online?

    You may view the information we have for you by clicking on My Profile on the navigation menu. To change the information, click on Update Profile at the bottom of the screen. Or if you have already logged in, click on the Update Profile option under your name at the top of the page. The information we have for you in our database will appear. Please make the appropriate changes to your profile.

    The only field you are not able to alter is your user name. If you need to update this information, please contact Customer Service at [email protected], and we will assist you.

  2. Does CME University keep a log of the courses that I complete?

    Yes. To view your course history, login to the site as directed on the top of the home page. Once your record is verified in our database, your profile and course history will appear. Your history will show the date of participation, the course title, the post-test result, and the number of credits earned for each online course you participated in. You may print a copy of your history as well as reprint copies of your certificates for courses completed online.

  3. Can I view a CME University course and submit the post-test at a later date?

    Yes. Select the course you are interested in by clicking on its title. The preamble will appear giving you the accreditation information for the course; click on View Content. You may also print a copy of the post-test at this time. Click on the View Questions link. At the bottom of the page, click on Printer Friendly View. A new window will open with a printer friendly version of the post-test. Select the print option from your browser menu bar. Your printer configuration and the page set-up will affect the number of pages that print. At a later time, you may submit the answers for the post-test by accessing the course as previously described. When the preamble appears on screen, scroll to the bottom and click on Take Test.

First Time User

CME University strives to provide educational activities that are of the highest quality and value to its members. Our online courses are oriented toward clinical practice issues and are designed to assist our members in serving their patient’s healthcare needs. To participate in our online courses, simply read the course in which you are interested, submit your answers to the post-test, and complete the evaluation form. Your post-test will be graded immediately. Upon successful completion of a post-test (a score of 70% or higher), a statement of participation will be available on screen for you to print.

As a member of CME University, you will be able to access a history of the courses you complete. Simply login to the site as directed on the home page, and your history will appear.

There is no fee to view CME University activities. However, you are required to log in as a registered user. Please register; it's quick and it's free.

This site features the following navigation options on its menus:

  • My Profile - allows you to view and update the personal information we have for you in our database
  • Course Search - Search by topic or credit type
  • FAQ - read the answers to some frequently asked questions
  • Post-test Instructions - explains how to participate in our online CME courses

System Requirements
CME University requires a modern web browser (Internet Explorer 7+, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Google Chrome). Certain educational activities may require additional software to view multimedia, presentation, or printable versions of their content. That software may be: Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Powerpoint, Windows Media Player, and Real Networks Real One Player.
