First time users must create a CMEU Account

Note: If you have a PowerPak account, you can use the same login for CMEU.

  1. Under Member Login, click on Create New Account.
  2. At the top of the next page, go to the New Users fields and enter your Email Address and a Username. Usernames must be a minimum of 6 characters.
  3. Click on the captcha "I am not a robot".
  4. Click on Create Account.
  5. Create a password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters. Please use at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.
  6. Complete your Personal Information and click Save at the bottom of the page. A successful completion notice will appear on the top of the page.

Making changes to your CMEU Profile

  1. Log in to your Account.
  2. Underneath the User Menu, click My Profile.
  3. Update your information as needed.
  4. The Username field cannot be changed within your profile. To update your Username contact Customer Service at [email protected] for assistance.
  5. Once you have updated your profile information, click the Save button at the bottom of the page. A successful completion notice will appear on the top of the page.

How to access a Course and complete the credit claiming process

  1. Log in. At the top of the Homepage, in the box labeled Find Post/Test Evaluation by Course, enter the Course code provided to you as part of your materials.
  2. Click on the Course Title. Select the location and/or date (if applicable).
  3. Select the appropriate credit type from the available listing.
  4. Complete all required actions for the selected course. Note: Post-tests, (if applicable) are graded and require a passing score of 75% or better.
  5. Once all steps are completed, your certificate will be made available. Click on View Certificate. You can print and save your certificate from the completion page. A PDF of your certificate will automatically be sent to the email address saved in your Profile.

ACLS/PALS/BLS and All General CPR Courses

  1. To locate the appropriate Course you MUST use the code provided to you by the Organization through which you took the Course. You cannot search by Course Title.
  2. CMEU will provide your CME Certificate but will not generate your Provider Card(s). You will need to obtain your card(s) from the Organization through which you participated in the Course. We are only the CME credit provider.

Where do I view my credits and certificates?

  1. To view your course history, log into your account and go to My History underneath the User Menu.
  2. The My History page will display all courses completed on CMEU.
  3. To reprint a specific course certificate, click on View Details to the right of the activity title.
  4. Then click View Certificate. This will allow you to download a PDF copy by clicking the Export to PDF button on the top of the certificate.
  5. For credit claimed on CMEU in 2024 and beyond, you should also have received an email containing a PDF of your certificate.

Accessing a CMEU Hosted Course

  1. Log in. On the Homepage, go to the Find Available Course By fields and enter the Course Title or search by Topic, or use the Find Post-Test/Evaluation by Course Code field and enter the course code.
  2. Click on the correct Course Title.
  3. Select the appropriate credit type from the available listing.
  4. Complete all required actions for the selected course. Note: Post-tests are graded and require a passing score of 75% or better.
  5. Once all steps are completed, your certificate will be made available. Click on View Certificate. You can print and save your certificate from the completion page. A PDF of your certificate will automatically be sent to the email address in your Profile.

Claiming credit for a live in-person activity

Note: For credit claiming within an Event App or a Computer Kiosk, follow the instructions provided by the organization whose event you are attending.

Do my pharmacy credits get loaded to my CPE Monitor on my NABP account?

  1. Yes, CMEU is compliant with the standards for digtally submitting ACPE credit. ACPE credits you earned with CMEU will automatically be transmitted to CPE Monitor.
  2. If you receive an error message, correct the information as instructed in the ePID and DOB fields provided and resubmit.
  3. For any other errors and concerns with submissions to the CPE Monitor from CMEU please contact us at [email protected].

What is a passing grade on CMEU?

  1. Post-tests require a passing grade of 75% or higher.
  2. You have an unlimited number of tries unless indicated in the specific activity.

First Time User

CME University strives to provide educational activities that are of the highest quality and value to its members. Our online courses are oriented toward clinical practice issues and are designed to assist our members in serving their patient’s healthcare needs. To participate in our online courses, simply read the course in which you are interested, submit your answers to the post-test, and complete the evaluation form. Your post-test will be graded immediately. Upon successful completion of a post-test (a score of 75% or higher), a statement of participation will be available on screen for you to print.

As a member of CME University, you will be able to access a history of the courses you complete. Simply log into the site and click on My History.

There is no fee to view CME University activities. However, you are required to log in as a registered user. Please register; it's quick and it's free.

  • My Profile - allows you to view and update your personal information.
  • My History - allows you to view the certificates you have obtained on CMEU.
  • Find Post-Test/Evaluation by Course - allows you to search for courses by title or course ID.
